As a pilot idea, RainTiger.com was originally launched on July 1st, 2001. But the true opening of RainTiger.com, as an online artistic publication, was on May 1st, 2004.

Why was RainTiger.com created?
The whole idea for RainTiger was to create a worldwide publication and a home for all artists; not just in one genre of the Arts, but also in multiple artistic disciplines. The idea was to also develop a stage where artists of one genre could express themselves, not only to their own genre, but to artists in different genres as well. In addition, one of the main goals was to attract artists who either did not have a place to express themselves or to attract artists who were too afraid to express themselves.
